I attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN where I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degree and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I also studied acupuncture as an elective and received my certification upon graduation. A lot of my post-graduate training has been focused on motor vehicle crash injuries, including live crash testing with human subjects at the Spine Research Institute in San Diego. I’m also certified to perform DOT examinations.
My recent focus in practice has been acupuncture. This ancient form of health care continues to amaze me with the improvement it can make in a person’s life, and I’m excited to provide it for our patients.
Like most chiropractors, I had a positive experience with chiropractic care earlier in life. I grew up on a farm in southwest Minnesota. My parents would take regular trips to their chiropractor and would often take us kids along. I realized at a young age that farm life can be hard on your body, and regular chiropractic care is important to maintaining health and vitality.
The Elk River area has been my home for the past 25 years. My wife, Jean, and I have six children and nine grandchildren who keep us very busy. During time off I enjoy bow hunting, golf and travel, usually somewhere in the southern or western US.
